The municipality of Šestanovac is located on a great geotraffical location for excursions, in the center of the eastern part of Central Dalmatia, close to the Dalmatian coast (about 15 km away) and the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic coast. It has excellent connections with the tourist interesting centers of Split, Sinj, Trilj, Imotski, Dugopolje, Vrlika, Omiš, Makarska riviera.
Archeological zone Vlake, archeological finding Velika peć, river Cetina, mountain Biokovo are just some parts of untouched nature in our minicipality.
Cultural heritage is nurtured in Šestanovac and the most important parts of cultural heritage are Ganga, Guarding the Lord's grave in the parish of Radobilja (Katuni Kreševo) and drywall construction.
Our region is famous for dishes such as "prisnac" - dough filled with chard, dried figs and raisins, fritters and cabbage with jerky. Of course, we have so much more but this is the most famous.
Our municipality is rich in cultural goods worth to see. Some of them are Archeological zone Vlake, The Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary (The Nativity of Mary) with the cemetery, The chapel of St. John the Baptist, Mandušića tower, Complex Bolčić and many others.
As outdoor activities we offer a lot of things such as hunting, trekking, mountain climbing, rafting, kayaking, canoeing, canyoning, cycling and quad tours.

Some examples of these include humans’ preference for scenes dominated by natural elements, the sustainability of natural resources , and the health benefits associated with engaging with nature.

People are coming back to Šestanovac for all of that reasons, expecially tourists who want peace, quite, safe environment for their kids and harmony with nature.
